Street Party

Our church had it's fourth annual Street Party this last weekend. It was a very hot day but from what I could tell fun was had by all. My dad cooked the meat, Brad was in the dunk tank and Carlon took it all in wearing Auntie Jay's shades.

Mom got me a new toy and I like it alot. It lights up, plays music, parts spin and it moves. Plus it's a train. Can it get any better?

Living at the Boogs.

Brad Carlon and I packed up our lives and moved into my sister's place for 11 days to take care of the house and the dog while they enjoyed a family vaction at DisneyWorld. (Still trying to quell my jealousy) Other than the challenge of getting Carlon to sleep in a different place, the week went by fairly uneventfully. The dog gave Carlon great motivation to move (to try to catch the dog) so his crawling ability soared. Laughing at auntie Linda

Another very cool "auntie" came over to visit. Laura has been schooling in Edmonton and was home for the summer. She is now back in Edmonton :( It'll be a while before we see her again. But we're going to Skype right Laura??

Our friend Leah

Our good friend Leah, who has been living in Japan and teaching ESL for the last 3 years was able to stop in Vancouver for a short visit a few weeks ago. This was her first time seeing Carlon in person. He wasn't entirely sure about her. He'll soon learn that she is one of the coolest "aunties" he'll have.
