catching up

After writing the last post I realized I haven't posted anything for a while and we have several pics to share. These aren't neccesarily in chronilogical order but are fairly close in time. You probably can't tell in the first pic but Carlon had the chicken pox, they showed up the week after thanksgiving. He's all better now with just a few spots still showing on his tummy and head.

This is what can happen when we forget to close the bathroom door.

workin' on my walkin'

I love my truck, pushing the noise buttons, loading up the bin and I can push it around and walk with it.

I loves my Mega Blocks dump truck

Carlon received this truck that came with a smaller dump truck and some Mega Blocks. The big truck has buttons that make a honking sound, an engine start up sound, and a dumping sound. When he gets a bit older, the bin opens up, locks in place and he can ride it around. He's already getting great enjoyment from the buttons and has even figured out that if he holds onto the back of the bin he can push it and walk around.

Thanksgiving and Birthdays

Since Carlon and Aiden are 8 days apart and close to Thanksgiving we decided to combo all three events. It was a big family deal and Linda made a banana birthday cake for the special pair.

so easily entertained

Carlon and Aiden enjoyed hangin' out and watching a little Blues Clues

One of the perks of The Job

Brad had the blessed opportunity to baptize one of his youth a couple weeks ago. Jasmin started coming to Bethany just over a year ago. She's fourteen and has the testimony of a 40 year old. She's lived more life at her young age than any one should ever have to live. Many in the congregation who had the opportunity to witness this moment were overcome with emotion. It was a BEAUTIFUL day.
